Walmart.com even offers the Netflix service. This is like the brick-and-mortar Wal-Mart store offering floor space for establishments like Pizza Hut. I guess the future of walmart.com is betting on a one stop online shopping experience. Maybe this is not true for those of us who don't have to hunt and peck when typing, but, is typing in another URL as cumbersome as going to multiple stores, just on a different scale? I guess Walmart.com is betting on people saying like in an article 'Oh well, while I'm here I might as well buy such-and-such.'

But, even more to the point of conglomerating to offer people low cost services that they would otherwise not have, Wal-Mart is going into banking themselves.
